Oh dear, seems like we've lost track of time! Let's catch up:
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, F1 in Schools has unfortunately been postponed till further notice. Although we won't be able to attend Nationals this year, we are thankful that our school is organising a school competition between teams! Here's what we'll be judged on:
1) Our car design
Many businesses and services have had to close its doors to keep both their employees as well as their customers safe, hence we were unable to get our cars milled. Our teachers will only be able to give us points based on our design, so our engineers are working hard to perfect it! We are rather disappointed that we are not able to experience the manufacturing process, but we are in the heat of the competition between teams and are giving it our best shot! After all, that's what are motto is, to Blaze the Trail!
2) Our portfolios
Our portfolios are very important in documenting our processes, both the good and the bad. Currently, we have completed both our enterprise and engineering portfolio. We are still tying up loose ends and making sure that our teachers will be able to understand our F1iS process as much as possible.
3) Verbal Presentation.
Last but not the least, we are required to give a verbal presentation. Normally, this would be done in front of the judges at the competition venue itself, but as we are not able to do so, we have more flexibility on how we want to present our team! It can be in the form of an animation, a skit, and many more. Now that we have completed the nitty gritty of our portfolio, we are about to begin planning and executing our verbal presentation.
Although the current situation has limited us from a number of things, we still look forward to sharing our perspectives with other teams and our teachers! We will continue to publicise our sponsors on our social media (@incendo.f1 on instagram) and apply our 3 Ps, Passion, Perseverance, and Prestige!
